Sunny, isolated beaches have always attracted artists and the Outer Banks is no exception. From Kitty Hawk and Nags Head to Hatteras and Ocracoke islands, our community of musicians is vibrant and growing.
Since the idea sprouted during the summer of 2007, we have established relationships with 8 teachers offering lessons in guitar, bass, violin, cello, piano, songwriting and voice in a range of styles from classical to jazz, blues and folk.
We’re also big on planning special programs with highly skilled touring musicians and teachers interested in coming to the Outer Banks to perform and give workshops here.
